Before January, I thought I would never be a runner but just walking got boring. Since I have started running, I lost thirty pounds, eliminated severe back pain due to a degenerative disk and a clearer mind which helps with sleep. In general, I feel like a happier person. If I ever find myself not happy but stressed, running is a quick fix. I would say it's a top five "best thing that has ever happened to me".
However, I haven't ran in about three weeks :( My heel tattoo has kept me from the gym for fear of rubbing off the scab (gross, I know) but it's practically healed so to the gym!
I can't wait : )
