Or as you may know it as the Disney World castle, is one of the most photographed and famous in the world and I went there today!
We walked from Füssen to the visitor center (5 km) then a mile straight up to the castle. As I am writing this my legs feel like they are about to fall off but it was absolutely worth it (and for those efforts, I rewarded myself with a Radler which is beer mixed with lemonade-sounds disgusting but in actuality one of the greatest drinks ever invented). The castle itself is beautiful but the foothills of the swiss alps really make the experience breath taking. We are still having a hard time grasping reality; It is to large for words to describe properly so I suggest you all make a trip!
